Location: 8470 Keele St, Concord ON (Keele and Langstaff)
Permanent Full Time.

We are Public Transit accessible! CMI is located at Keele and Langstaff in Concord. A 20-minute bus ride from TTC Pioneer Village Subway Station in North York and a 10-15-minute bus ride from Rutherford GO Station in Vaughan.

Here’s what we do…
CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!

Here’s where you come in…
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will go beyond the traditional administrative tasks and play a key role in supporting various aspects of our operations. You will be responsible for providing a positive experience for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze data to ensure accuracy of information
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of records and documents
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and follow established processes.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • High School Graduate
  • Post-secondary education in an administration or business program is an asset
  • Administrative experience is an asset
  • Customer service oriented, possess tact and judgement in dealing with difficult and demanding customers
  • Ability and desire to learn, seeking growth in career and job function
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to proactively identify inefficiencies, escalating and proposing solutions.
  • Intermediate computer skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Must be able to respond to tight deadlines during regular and peak periods and to last-minute demands and requirements
  • Organized, detailed oriented, ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Possess problem analyses and solving skills including basic arithmetic computations
