Job Description
Caregiver will care two elderly persons, male 76 and female 72. Care includes companionship, planning therapeutic diets and menus, assist with personal care and regular exercises, perform light housework and cleaning duties, launder linen, administer medication as necessary, assume responsibility for the home in the absence of the employer.
Benefits
- A wage of $15.72 is offered for a 40 hour week
- Accommodation is available at no cost but LIVING IN IS NOT A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
- Ten days vacation after one year’s service, two days off per week.
Job Requirements
- Education must be Canadian Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Communication in English is mandatory and must be at a level sufficient to facilitate working without supervision
- Experience of at least one year as a caregiver or training as PSW or Nurse or similar
