Known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company”, DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, Avestan, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science-first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder and CEO, Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring a strong control environment is operating effectively.
This hybrid position will be located at our Head office in Toronto
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Act as primary point of contact for audit requests and documentation from external auditors and business partners on behalf of internal stakeholders
Support internal stakeholders to complete design walkthroughs and operating effectiveness testing with external auditors and company’s internal auditors.
Help internal stakeholders to understand and define risks related to IT infrastructure, processes, applications, operations, security and emerging technologies and build controls to address risks.
Assist with the transition of the Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives to the process owners and encourage ownership.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
Good technical knowledge of IT platforms, operating systems, network services, security, privacy, and business applications
Knowledge of audit assurance, governance, and control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST and ISO, Service Organization Controls (SOC) Reporting standards (e.g., CSAE 3416) sufficient to interpret and apply IT risk and control concepts.
1-3 years of working experience in an IT SOX compliance role or IT Internal audit role with a publicly listed company or 1-3 years with a public accounting firm with focus on risk-based audit
Undergraduate degree in IT related field or accounting
Certified Information System Auditor (CISA). The preferred candidate may also have one or more of the following designations: CISSP, CIA, CISM or similar leading industry certifications.
